Bangers Pickelball

Bangers Pickleball was founded to create the ultimate pickleball destination, a place where competition, community, dining, and entertainment come together under one roof. More than a traditional sports facility, Bangers offers a complete experience featuring indoor and outdoor courts, leagues, lessons, social events, food, drinks, and gathering spaces designed to bring people together. As the concept continued to evolve, the brand needed an identity that could capture the energetic, social atmosphere of the venue while standing out in the rapidly growing pickleball industry. The goal was to create a memorable brand that felt approachable to new players, exciting for experienced competitors, and welcoming for families, friends, and event guests alike.

Project Goals & Solution

The objective of this project was to develop a bold and playful identity that reflected the fun-first culture of Bangers while remaining versatile enough to live across apparel, signage, social media, merchandise, and the physical venue itself. Drawing inspiration from the lighthearted nature of pickleball and the social environment that surrounds it, I created a custom mascot mark featuring a winking pickleball character that immediately communicates personality and approachability.

The expressive icon was paired with energetic script typography and a vibrant court-inspired color palette to create a brand system that feels both modern and memorable. The result is an identity that captures the excitement of competition without taking itself too seriously, creating a visual system that encourages players to come for the pickleball but stay for the experience. Whether displayed on the court, in the restaurant, at community events, or across promotional materials, the final brand helps establish Bangers as more than just a place to play pickleball, but as a destination built around connection, entertainment, and fun.
